A dog

We have many discussions about pets at our house. We have decided that IF we ever get a dog, it will be a Schnoodle-poodle, miniature schnauzer mix. Because they are hypo-allergenic. This weekend, there were a lot of dogs at Gramma's 90'th. Tak and Janie both had theirs, and Shorty had his cat. Mom asked Kate if we were going to get a dog, she said, "Mom's lergic, we can only have a poodle noodle." The things 3 yr. olds say. Hilarious.

1/2 birthday party for "thing one and thing two"

They aren't little babies any longer. Tate and Seth turn 4 1/2 and have a great family dinner complete with presents. I think they now have enough water guns to last the entire summer for all the kids on the block.

Grandmothers 90th birthday photo montage

Just a few fun shots of the party. The kids looked especially cute today! Hard to believe Grandma is 90 years old already. Time goes so quickly!

A Triathlete is Born

Well, many of you know that Ryan finished his first triathlon this weekend. We journeyed down south to stay with Kristin and Chris (thanks guys) and Ryan spent Sat. morning in St. George doing the Olympic tri at Sand Hollow for the Utah Summer Games. That means he did a 1 mile swim, 26 mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile run. He finished in 2 hours 42 min. which is really great for a first event. He placed 28th out of ???, but there was a 500 cap on the # of competitors. I think he is hooked and is already planning his (and mine) next triathlon!

All I want this summer is...

My two front teeth! Our friend's son, Ian, took it upon himself to remove Graham's two front teeth last week, which had been quite loose for about 2 months. He said, here let me see...tell me if this hurts...and starting wrenching away! Graham was quite tough about the whole thing, I thought. He stood there pulling the skin down beneath his eyes so that when they watered it wouldn't pour all over. None of us had the courage to do it. Anyway I think he looks pretty cute.

Happy Fathers Day

To Chris, Ryan, Bjorn, Dru and of course, DAD! We are a family truly blessed with a 'few good men'. Men who change diapers, babysit, and love their kids. Thanks Dad for being such a good example to all the men in the family, and for all the years being our dad. We love all our DADS!

Mama bear Tess

Tess' 1st grade class did a production of the 3 bears just before school ended, she was one of the Mama bears. Not only did she know all her lines, she knew, and mouthed along with all the rest! She was also given some end of the year awards, Miss photogenic, and Best dancer. She really likes school, and can't wait to start 2nd grade!
