A few more pictures of the Milo

I'm learning to smile for the camera

Sometimes I just need a little "smooch" fron my mommy

I'm just too Cute!
My girlfriend Angela took these cute photos of Milo the other day just as we dropped over for a second. I just love the one of him smiling. He's getting so big and getting so fun. He's grabbing for things, and holding on to toys, he's "talking" a lot more too. Time is going way too fast.

Out with the old and in with the New

"Clifford the red truck"

Car that needs a name? Any ideas?

Well we did it. We didn't intend to, but it was a deal we couldn't pass up. Clifford is getting old and therefore sold, and we have purchased an Acura MDX. We love it and it will be with us for many great years. It has all the features we wanted and many more we didn't know we could have. We hope to sell Clifford for a few bucks, and not have to pay someone to take him away. If all else fails we can always use it for a charitable donation!

Our Beloved

Prophet and President has gone home to be with his sweet wife. He was 97 and was a wonderful leader of the church. He served as our leader from 1995, and has spent his life in the service of the church. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

New Haircut!

Well we gave Masaru a haircut this week. It's a number 2 on the sides and a 5 on the top. I think it looks alright. He wasn't the best at sitting still but we managed to get it all done, just!!
We also went to the beach and McClarren Falls last weekend and went swimming. We headed off to the beach first and it was sooooooooooo windy we almost were blown away. We laid all our blankets and bags down and they were covered in sand in about 2 minutes. So after a look at the water and a couple of people charging in like 'Bay watch', we decided to cut our losses and go to McClarren Falls. There was no wind there and the water was perfect. So we had our lunch there and swam for a couple of hours. Fun!!
This is Jessie. She's Haydn's girlfriend! She's originally from England and has been living in New Zealand for 4 years soon. She works as an administration person at her fathers law firm. She's thinking of either going into law or being a law executive. Her work will pay for it either way. So that's pretty good. They met at the YSA conference they had at the New Year and things have been going great since. Haydn's very happy and we'll just have to see where it goes. They swap weekends visiting each other. Last week Haydn was up in Auckland and this weekend she's down here in Tok.
Yuki's doing well and is playing with toys now. So we need to try and find her a rattle of some kind or something she can chew on. Kids love that. Masaru is speaking a lot now and can hold a decent conversation with you and tell you what he's thinking or needs. I'm sure he's finding life a lot easier and we certainly are.
Dru has been accepted into two schools so far. He has 8 more to hear from. So looks like this year is our year! I'm sure glad he persisted in his dream and didn't give up when others seemed to be telling him to. What a great example he is to me. I hope I can be as persistent in my own dreams!!
Love Dru Nakaya Clan xx
