The Big Move

Well we made it official and finally brought our tickets to NZ. We leave on the 11th of November and get back on the 8th of May. I think this is going to be a great adventure for our family! We're just leaving summer in Utah and coming into summer in NZ. It'll be nice to miss the RSV season for Yuki Mei. She's not going to know what hit her when she feels her first winter back here in Utah next year. I just hope mum and Pete are prepared for us!!! Their house is big enough to not hear us too much, plus they're hardly ever around. My sister has a weight loss and exersize programme she's going to do on me, so hopefully I'll come home a little smaller!! I think this will be good for Dru to experience working for someone else and in a different country. Hopefully law schools will see it as something extra different and want to have Dru in their class!! Third times a charm right?!
Masaru will enjoy getting to know his cousins more plus NZ has a pre-school programme that is free for 20 hours a week called kindergarten that I'll put him in!!!
I'll make sure to keep up with pic's and posts!!
NZ here we come, look out it's the Nakaya's!!!

Early arrival

Well here they are. The pictures that everyone has been asking for. I was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday without Myles. He needed to stay at the "Huntington Beach" and get rid of some billiruben in his system. My OB let me stay one extra night, but unfortunately Myles needed two nights so I left him behind. He came home last night and we have been in bliss ever since. I feel like I'm playing house in some ways, that is until the middle of the night feedings, but he's so worth all 24 hours of labor and more!(can anyone tell me how to get pictures side by side? I put them that way when writing the post, but when publishing the post they come out all stacked up.)

New Pic's

Well this is us about a week home and Masaru is doing the best he can in the situation he's in. He's very good with her and is just not potty trained as well, but we're working on it. He's a little clingy to me but all in all I think things are going well at home. She's sleeping and eating well, so I"m really happy as that is less stress I think when your child is doing those two things nicely. She's got her first appointment with Dr. Reese on Monday so we'll see how much she's grown. She's already changing I think and filling out a little more. I'd be surprised if she was less than 7 and a half pound. Her blessing is going to be at our house on the 21st of October!! Probably around 1ish.

Yuki

Ok here's the family all together, just not in one picture!
We're all happy she's here and she's doing great. Eating well, sleeping like a koala bear, and peeing and poohing up a storm. I still need to get used to her inner parts better! It's a trip! We're all happy and tired. Masaru is officially not potty trained any more!!

And the winner is...

Enrichment this month was a "county fair". Everyone brought a dish and 5 of their favorite recipes for a cookbook that will be assembled. I brought Kristin's Broccoli and cauliflower salad. It was a hit and took the blue ribbon for the salad category. Well done Kristin!

36 weeks!

It's week 36 for baby Myles. While I would like to be done I know that two more weeks at least would be best. I'm hoping for a delivery around the 10th. Bjorn picket up a Boston Red Sox cap for Myles while on his way through Boston this week. Fitting for us as we are on our way to the last Dodgers ball game tonight. No post season for them. I think they have lost the last 7 games in a row. Oh well, the Red Sox are still two games up on the Yankees and are still in the running for the American league Division title.
