Who wouldn't love a face like that?!

Happy Birthday Yoda! Today is his 1st birthday. Little does he know what he is in for. He is about to be dethroned by a little kid named Myles. Here are some pictures of Yoda through the first year of life. He has changed a lot. He used to fit into Bjorn's G's, He thinks he is a cat. He loves to hang out on the arm of the couch. His 1st Popsicle on his 1st birthday. He loved it! And who wouldn't love those English teeth! What more could you ask for in a smelly snaggle tooth pooch...

Favorite things...

I have many favorite things, but right now I tend to think about things that are making my life a little better. For example my flip flops, since bending over to do up buckles or laces is getting really hard. My pregnancy wedge pillows, I can't sleep without them anymore(sometimes I can't sleep with them.) Tums smoothies extra strength for heartburn and last of all my lily padz( they are like little Mornon paste's in the shape of a lily pad.) When you start to lactate early on they are wonderful because you don't have to sleep in a bra they just stick on. These are a few things I am really happy to have and things that make my life so much better! Some of these items may be too much information, but I figured that the only ones reading the blog are the women anyway...

Well I guess I will start with the nursery. It's finally done! I hung the quilt on the wall a few days ago and I feel like the room turned out really cute. Kristin was wondering if I was going to push Myles into a airline job. I hadn't thought of it, but free travel again isn't a bad idea! I guess you could say I'm in the "nesting" stage because I want to get all my projects done NOW! I am going to start on the birth announcements next. I hope they turn out as cute as the nursery.

Bjorn has been battling with pneumonia for about a month now. It finally caught up with him last week and we landed up in the ER for most of the day. He hasn't been to work in almost a week and this is a good example of what our days are like now. I, on the other hand, have been cleaning the house. It's funny when you are sick you can't smell the sickness, but when it's someone else the whole house smells like sick people. I've been busy doing wash and vacuuming and disinfecting all surfaces. I open up the windows each morning to get out all the "sick smell" and I need to get some air fresheners for the bedroom. The "sick smell" is really bad in there. We hope that he will be better by the end of the week. I hate to see him loose all these days off on being sick and nothing fun...

6 Years

Well Dru and I have been married 6 years on Friday the 27th. It's been great. We went out to dinner and did some shopping for a brown belt, which took around 2 hours!!! Then went to the movie Transformers, which we loved. I'm sure you have to be a transformers fan to like it though!!! Even though it also means I"ve been away from my home country and my family for six years, Dru's worth it!!
These other pictures are obviously of Masaru swimming! It took him a little while before he'd jump in but then he was all go!! Fun times.

"Bing" We are now aproaching our arrival...

Well it's almost done. I still need to hang the quilt on the wall behind the crib, but everything else we have done. We are still searching for a three drawer dresser that can double as a changing table. No luck yet, but we are going this weekend to the unfinished wood store in hopes to be able to find something there. We had good luck there with other furniture items. Last night making the bed I realized how much making the bed against the wall sucks, but better than no bed at all I guess. I finished the curtains and hung the airplanes yesterday. Thanks to Bjorn's muscles the furniture is where I want it. The cradle will be moved to our room once the baby arrives. For now it will stay where the changing table/dresser will go. So I guess this means that the Dodd B & B is open for business! Come one come all, but make your reservations early because we will be having a permanent resident come the end of October.

Pregnancy Pics!!!

These were taken yesterday, July 24th!! Dru was the photographer and it took three shots before I was happy I guess. I'm 31weeks!!!
