BYU

Dru went down to Provo yesterday to meet with the dean.
Dru said he had his 'poker' face on but it was a good visit.
The dean said the waitlist is small and they're making some decisions next week.
Also there's some people who turn up the first day and decide it's not for them or just plain don't turn up.
So if he gets called a day after law school starts we'll pack up all our stuff in Idaho and take the loss and move to an apartment down Orem ways for a year because the renters in our house would've signed a contract for a year.
Dru said he felt good about it.
The dean said emails and calls aren't effective and he's glad Dru came down to visit him.
Dru says he thinks it gave him a face to the name as well as a little more insight to why he wants to practice law and why BYU.
So I'm glad he went down and I think it was a great visit.
So fingers still crossed!

I am so excited that there is still a possibility for Dru to go to BYU. (I'm a little partial to that school, myself) Orem is a lot closer than Idaho; I happen to be down that way quite often. Good luck! I know that the unknown is very stressful, so just do all that you can and then rely on the Lord. And know that your friends will always help you if they can--call me if you need anything.

Good one Dru! Hope you are successful. Maybe you can get Amy Hascall to sign a short 6 month lease on the house and you could just move back after six months! Good for you.

That is really positive that the dean told Dru driving down to visit was effective. That means if the list is 4 and 1 or 2 drive down for interview, his odds are even better. Boy would that be great to have you close!! Its just wonderful how persistent Dru is, and how supportive you are of him, and great to know you love birds and cute fam are in God's hands with it all.

good work dru! I'd be going crazy with things up in the air like that, but I don't think you're quite as tightly strung as I am, thank goodness for you. We'll be keeping ya'll in our prayers!

Fingers crossed. Good thing Idaho is still "close" should that spot open up!
