Belly button or Timer?

I was thinking about the pregnant body the other day. I began with all the changes that one goes through. Loss of waist line, larger hips, bigger feet, swollen feet and hands, expanding belly, and the belly button change. What you might say- the belly button change? Well it starts like this. Your belly button is normal one day, then as time goes on your belly button changes to a large black hole. Then as more time passes it starts to get wide, not just one finger wide but two! Then as the final days approach it becomes shallow and then when you are just about ready to burst it will stick out like a turkey timer! Yep, I'm almost at the turkey timer stage. I figure I have a few more weeks and then my timer is going to pop. Then what...tape it down?

31st week!

Well it's week 31, and baby Myles has really started to pop out. Last week I wasn't this big I'm not sure what happened.

My legs and feet are also looking really bad. I don't know where my ankles went, but I can't find them. I can push on my ankles and feel the bone, but it leaves a big whole there for a few min.

Who wouldn't love a face like that?!

Happy Birthday Yoda! Today is his 1st birthday. Little does he know what he is in for. He is about to be dethroned by a little kid named Myles. Here are some pictures of Yoda through the first year of life. He has changed a lot. He used to fit into Bjorn's G's, He thinks he is a cat. He loves to hang out on the arm of the couch. His 1st Popsicle on his 1st birthday. He loved it! And who wouldn't love those English teeth! What more could you ask for in a smelly snaggle tooth pooch...

Favorite things...

I have many favorite things, but right now I tend to think about things that are making my life a little better. For example my flip flops, since bending over to do up buckles or laces is getting really hard. My pregnancy wedge pillows, I can't sleep without them anymore(sometimes I can't sleep with them.) Tums smoothies extra strength for heartburn and last of all my lily padz( they are like little Mornon paste's in the shape of a lily pad.) When you start to lactate early on they are wonderful because you don't have to sleep in a bra they just stick on. These are a few things I am really happy to have and things that make my life so much better! Some of these items may be too much information, but I figured that the only ones reading the blog are the women anyway...

Well I guess I will start with the nursery. It's finally done! I hung the quilt on the wall a few days ago and I feel like the room turned out really cute. Kristin was wondering if I was going to push Myles into a airline job. I hadn't thought of it, but free travel again isn't a bad idea! I guess you could say I'm in the "nesting" stage because I want to get all my projects done NOW! I am going to start on the birth announcements next. I hope they turn out as cute as the nursery.

Bjorn has been battling with pneumonia for about a month now. It finally caught up with him last week and we landed up in the ER for most of the day. He hasn't been to work in almost a week and this is a good example of what our days are like now. I, on the other hand, have been cleaning the house. It's funny when you are sick you can't smell the sickness, but when it's someone else the whole house smells like sick people. I've been busy doing wash and vacuuming and disinfecting all surfaces. I open up the windows each morning to get out all the "sick smell" and I need to get some air fresheners for the bedroom. The "sick smell" is really bad in there. We hope that he will be better by the end of the week. I hate to see him loose all these days off on being sick and nothing fun...
