COME ON peeps. This'll be fun....................for me!!

Here are the rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

I've got to get around to doing this on my blog.

Let's see.....a walk down memory lane. We were in Bountiful and I came over to find Masaru in the yard in his underoos. You were inside with Yuki and it was like we were long lost friends.

Wait. We've never met. ha ha. All of my memories of you are tied up with our blogs but I HOPE to meet you sooN!

I have two memories with you. First; you called during a very difficult time and invited me and my daughters to dinner at your house. The food was great, but the company was even better. The second; was your Relief Society lesson. I know it wasn't just the two of us but you made such an impact on me. I love you Melissa and I'm really gonna miss you!

my memory of you Melissa is probably going to sound really weird.. We brought you something after Masaru was born, and you were sitting on the couch. I remember you telling me to really make sure I was ready to have a kid before getting pregnant because they change your life SOOO much. It was well taken advice! You definitely made Brad and me laugh lots that night! Thanks!

I have copied your post down on mine, so I hope you'll go and check it out.
My memory of you is the first time I met you. It was at your bridal shower. I remember thinking, This is so cool that Dru is going to marry some bird from New Zealand! Beside you being cool for being not only from out of town, but out of the country, you were a very cool girl. You looked so nervous to meet the whole family too. I still can't remember what city you are from, but I do remember that it was a question in one of the games. I felt so lame, because not 5 minutes prior I had asked you what city you were from and then I didn't remember after the question had been asked. I am really glad you are in the family!

I vividly remember bawling when you left for NZ. You came to say goodbye and I just bawled my eyes out. I didn't think I would miss you as much as I did.

I also TOTALLY remember when you said "damn and hell" during an enrichment night, I was like "you can't say that here!".. and you said "I am from NZ those are not bad words were I come from". You are TOO funny!

Love you, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!

ummmmmm a memory of you is when we were lying on the floor on my last night looking through photo albums and we were laughing so hard about that wedding you went to were you didn't have any pics of the bride and groom and when the groom was in the pic you were blocking him out doding the mad poses. Go and look back through your photos you'll remember. OR when you came and rescued me from that crazy families house and you were so concerned about me you were driving me home and talking to me and then we realised you head was still bleeding from your accident with the door. Melissa Melissa so selfless! Love your Future Sister in Law xxxx

Unfortunately, my memory of the mish is getting fuzzy. The most significant memory I have with you is pretty recent. Seeing you at Julie's funeral was probably the most emotionally significant. Thanks for your support.

I have soooo many memories of you I don't know where to start... I remember when you were in Elva dorm and your Dad came to see you, you guys were talking and started having like an argument (meaning you were talking louder and he was still speaking softly) anyways it was coz he wanted to be a no fuss Dad and wait for one of yous to finish at the movies... but it was raining and he was all "it's ok I'll just wait" and you were like..no you don't have to bla bla bla ANYWAYS I remember this because I was stuck behind the door you were holding open, feeling stink as because your Dad didn't know I was there remember!! I always laugh when I think about that....

and everything else we've done... like the super cool photographer at your wedding taking aaaages to set up our shot and then after one snap it was over....

Oh yeah, busting our totally on to it moves at the YSA dances, we so rocked! hahahaha

Your my best friend Milz and I love you! (even though I suck at keeping in touch!)

Thomas the Train always comes to Heber Memorial day weekend. You can go online and purchase tickets and ride on Thomas. It was so much fun and Brayden got to see his favorite character, it was so worth it if you can go.

There are so many to list off but one of them was something that was really important to me. I was a brand new greenie in the mish and was struggling and having a hard time. You and Sister Smith came out to do trade offs with us and you were telling me that everything was going to be great and I would be great. It was the extra *umphhh* that I needed to really belive in myself.

There are so so many other experiences because luckily for me our life journey since the mission has been have been always near each other but I have appreciated each and every time that you have proven to be a true friend to me and always being there for me for whenever I needed a laugh or to talk!

I love you girl

Katie

OH HECK, I have many great memories, but some of my favorite memories are when YOU came to stay with me for Christmas and New YEARS after the mish. I had sooo much fun watching Castaway with you in the theater and then building a Snowman and naming it WIlson. TOO AWESOME! I Loved that we also watched Ever After together and Laughed and Loved. (Your looking good, You're welcome to look ;)
LOVE YOU
MELANIE

I will go back to the first time we met. It was at Laura's for a recipe exchange and you were so open about birthing and nursing. It was refreshing. I remember going home and telling John that I had met someone I definitely felt I could be fast friends with.

ok, I don't want to play this game, but seriously, Hadyn's comment made me pee my pants.

One of the most recent contact memories was 3 years ago when we got together up at Shauna's house for a dinner just before Grandma Williams passed away. You and my sis Colleen had the same diaper bag. Not knowing that at the time, I thought Colleen left her diaper bag at Shauna's, so I basically stole your diaper bag, (thinking it was hers of course) soon to realize that when I got home, being all proud thinking I was doing this good deed, it ended up being yours. Luckily, our family was going to Lagoon a couple of days after, so I was able to return your diaper bag to Shauna's house. Sorry for taking your bag!

I remember visiting a couple years ago to bring you and Dru your Christmas gifts to find you in your pajamas on the couch with nothing packed for your trip to New Zealand the next day. Sooo, we all set to work. My favorite part was when I loaded the dishwasher only to find out it was broken... We laughed so hard! I love you!

My first memory of you was trying to find out who you were. Everyone kept saying "you know, Melissa, the girl from New Zealand" and frankly, no, I didn't know. I couldn't seem to find anyone with an accent matching your description. But eventually I did and it was worth the wait and effort!!
